Like the gift that keeps on giving, WeltBeat host and selector Jean Trouillet returns to Greedio with a brand-new episode of his far-reaching deep listening format. Originally aired on Frankfurt's radio X, his "Globalwize Radioshow #425" is now streaming exclusively via the Greedio channel on Mixcloud, bringing listeners a fresh two hours of hand-picked new music from around the globe. And here's what you get, once you hit play:

Opening show #425 are forward-thinking sounds by Italian jazz trumpet and flugelhorn player Paolo Fresu and Cuban pianist and composer Omar Sosa, Cameroonian singer and composer Blick Bassy (read more here), Finnish folk pop group Okra Playground, the most important female voice of the Canary Islands Olga Cerpa and her ensemble Mestisay, latin rock fusion band ¿Who's The Cuban?, and singing dancefloor chansonniers Les Yeux d’la Tête with a track from their recent live album.

Taking it from there is L.A.'s Marisol Hernández aka La Marisoul and San Antonio-based Tejano conjunto Los Texmaniacs (watch trailer below), Brazilian vocalist Irma Ferreira presenting the Afro-brazilian religious repertoire of the Candomblé, and then three tracks off Trouillet's 'record of the week' being the collaborative LP "Songs for Broken Ships" by Bangalore's MD Pallavi and Hamburg's Andi Otto.

Next up is Middle Eastern project Danûk, Syrian quartet Jawa and their 'Last Breaths From Aleppo', 15-piece South African ensemble IzangoMa, Berlin artist Peter Fox (aka one of the frontmen of the popular dancehall formation Seeed), German 'skafighters' Die Zimmermänner, inter-generational Ukrainian ensemble Hudaki Village Band and, last but not least, Ghanaian Frafra gospel outfit Alogte Oho & His Sounds of Joy.
