ABOUT
The time has finally come for the re-release of “Oi Amerike! Joe Fleisch presents Yiddish and Non-Yiddish songs from the past, revisited by ElektroYid and the Jewish Monkeys” through Greedy For Best Music.
Whether in Tel Aviv or London, Fleisch’s work embodies Levy's statement: “You don't have to be Jewish to love klezmer!” Although not a klezmer musician, he connects with his Polish-Jewish roots through Yiddish music.
Originally released in 2011, this EP expanded multi disciplinary artist and entrepeneur Joe Fleisch’s audience on its debut. For the „Oi Amerike!“ EP, Fleisch collaborated with the Jewish Monkeys, Elektro Yid, and Jewrhythmics. The EP features numerous cover versions of songs from a large range of various musical and cultural origins.
