Greed is certainly not our single most preferred attribute, but that depends on the context it is placed in. In our case greed is characterised by a constant hunger for best music, best stories, best people and best colours.
STAY GREEDY.
Greedy for Best Music is in fact the brainchild of Frankfurt-based formerly Frankfurt- now Tel Aviv-based Jewish Monkeys visionary Jossi Reich. Initially conceived as the Jewish Monkeys’ record label, we are now taking a more comprehensive, a more inclusive approach. Through Greedy for Best Music we would like to provide friends and partners from within our musical cosmos to publish their music, open it up to discussion and stream it across the globe.
Our mindset is music first, music steeped in tradition, music with a story to tell, music with a strong cultural identity that goes beyond the omnipresent Anglo-American hegemony. In other words, Greedy for Best Music’s mission is to bring you extraordinary releases from extraordinary artists, while revealing their alternate realities, progressive in spirit, yet entertaining in form.
